المفهوم الصحيح للدين لا يمكن أخذه من واقع المسلمين اليوم؛ لأنهم مختلفون أشد الاختلاف، وإنما يجب أن نأخذ المفهوم الصحيح للدين مما كان عليه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وما كان عليه الصحابة، وما كان عليه السلف الصالح، لقد أشار الرسول عليه السلام إلى هذه الحقيقة في الحديث لكن مع الأسف قل من يتنبه لهذه الإشارة، وهي في الواقع أن تسمى: صريح العبارة، أولى من أن يقال: إنها إشارة، حين قال جواباً للسائل: من هي الفرق الناجية؟ قال: (هي الجماعة) .. (هي ما أنا عليه وأصحابي)
